Best Rugby Moment: That would have to be the official opening of the new artificial pitch. My sons age group at rugby were the mascots for the game and I got the opportunity to walk out on to the field with him, a great memory to have!

Worst Rugby Moment: Having our relegation confirmed on a technicality when the season was ended prematurely due to covid. We didn’t get the chance to fight to stay up in Yorkshire 1 where we belong

Best on the Beers: Tom Lowther! The best, happiest drunk I’ve seen. He loves a night out and some of the things he does after a few beers are hilarious.

Worst on the Beers: Luke ‘2 pints’ Carter. Hammered after a few beers then always needs to go and be sick before he can keep on drinking and get through the session

Aspirations for the Season: Promotion!! I just want to keep leading the club as a co-captain along with Giddy and get the club back in to Yorkshire 1.

Player to watch this season: Tom Whyte for me. He’s come to us from Wharfedale along with a few more lads and settled in really well, always does things well, makes a big difference in every game that he’s played in and has become one of the leaders of the group.

Moo’s Bio: Shaun ‘Mini’ Minikin. Mini is the 2nd Half of our captaincy and another player who is woven into the fabric of this team. Don’t be fooled by his calm exterior, he can hit like a mule and step you in a phone-box.
Again,another product of our junior section, Mini has grown as a player and built on his skill set year on year. His willingness to Pack down in the front row or jump on the wing shows his leadership and dedication to the club.
