Some excellent running rugby set up a fine victory against league new boys Bolton

First half tries from Blake Robinson, Richard Harryman, Alistair Thompson and Nathan Wooff, with Nathan converting three, gave Kendal a 26v3 half time lead, with a try scoring bonus point already in the bag

Second half tries from Bob Mataia, Dan Lowther and James Gough (2), saw Kendal run out 46v3 winners.

Bolton started well, and competed to the end looking for the elusive try that their effort deserved, but were blown away at times, by one of the best back line performances seen from Kendal in many years.

If last week was all about winning ugly, this was a most handsome performance

With Vale of Lune losing to Birkenhead Park, and more unexpectedly Penrith failing to break their long away losing hoodoo, at previously winless New Brighton, Kendal go top of the League as the only unbeaten team, after only three games, making next weekend’s visit to Penrith even more important. Make every effort to be there to back the team, if you can.
