The England Excel programme runs form May to March. Players receive nationally managed and controlled training camps (Easter and Summer) and weekends (September - February). Selection in January will identify the U17 and U19 England Squads to compete in the Netball Europe Championships, held annually in March. In addition players also receive 2 hours 'Technical Training' every other week within a localised Excel Academy.

So there is lots of hard work ahead for both of them as they strive to make it into the squads to compete at Netball Europe.

Their selection bears testament to their hard work at training and to their performances in the Premier and NTL leagues this year. Huge congratulation to Olivia and Katie!
