To commence asap

As part of our 5 year development plan the club will be investing into the following areas with a look to complete all projects by the end of 2017

New Heating system: The current heating system is in desperate need of upgrade and full replacement. The club is currently getting 3 quotations from heating engineers as to a cost. Once these are received we will look to install the new system. Approximate cost £10,000.

Floodlit pitch maintenance: The main flood lit pitch is in need of some essential maintenance and we have been quoted £4500 to make maintain the pitch. The club has received £2000 worth of funding to reduce the outlay to £2500. We will be looking to start this project at the end of March and complete by the end of the summer

Floodlight maintenance on the lower playing pitch: In conjunction with maintaining our main floodlit pitch we need to get the flood lights working on the lower pitch. Cost £3800. We need to carry out this maintenance so that the main flood lit pitch is not overused and put back into a poor state. We can also utilise the lower floodlit pitch when all complete to rent out for more income to the club

EPOS tills: After looking at this option many times the time is right to install EPOS tills to the club for both upstairs and downstairs. These till systems will bring many benefits to the club short/ medium and long term with an initial outlay of £3200. The money raised through the RFU grand draw with off set some of this cost. Tills will look to be in place within 2 months

Tractor: The club is looking at a new/used tractor as our old girl is struggling. This is another major outlay and as its not essential we will be reviewing this spend towards the end of the year.

The club does not have the money to cover these costs and therefore applications are being made to various funding and grants areas to cover the outlay. With some hard work there is an excellent chance that all projects will be completed with most of the outlay being covered in funding/ grants and fund raising.

It is all our collective responsibility to generate funds for the club to then spend wisely to protect the future of our club. If you have any questions please shout and also if you have any areas in your section/ area of the club that need funding then please shout.
