“The most glamorous sporting event in the district this week was surely the match between Kettering Hockey Club and the touring side from Buenos Aires.
A Lone second-half goal gave the Argentinian side victory at Northampton Road in a match that produced some excellent hockey, despite the difficult conditions.
The Buenos Aires Ladies have enjoyed a highly successful tour and on Sunday they toppled a stronger Northampton side 2 – 1.
