After leaving the Oxford Cherwell League in 2008, Kidlington Cricket Club played a friendly season under the control of new Chairman John Moss. Moss laid down his plans to re-establish Kidlington as one of Oxfordshires top clubs at senior and youth levels, this time though in the Oxfordshire Cricket Association.

With Kidlington 1st XI entering in Division 7 in 2010, they struggled to find their feet in this format of cricket under new Captain Richard Walker and managed only a midtable finish.

In 2011, Kidlington entered a 2nd XI in Division 10 as the club continued to grow with many former players returning, including Chris East, Steve Litten and Jimmy Ewers. The 1st XI and 2nd XI both achieved promotion in their respective divisions, with both teams finishing 3rd.

In 2012, the stature of the club continued to grow, Richard Walker and 2nd XI Captain Graham Eagle looked to have strong squads on paper with more returning faces such as Jack Desmond, Andy Oliver and Edd Willmot, the club were also beginning to attract new players with George Speller slotting into the 1st XI in his debut season at the club. It turned out to be one of the most successful seasons in the clubs history. The 1st XI won Division 6 with only 3 defeats all season, Richard Walkers men then went on to win the Steve Dixon Memorial Cup with an emphatic 8 wicket victory in the final, completing a memorable double for the club. The 2nd XI also achieved promotion from Division 8 by finishing 2nd. They won all 9 completed games and were unlucky not to win the division due to poor weather throughout the season!

After the success of 2012 and the continuing growth of the club on and off the field, John Moss and the committee decided that the club would benefit from a 3rd XI senior team which was to help integrate the up and coming youth members into senior cricket. They were entered into Division 10, with the 1st XI now in Division 5 and the 2nd XI in Division 7. Richard Walkers team looked to continue their success from the previous season and did exactly that by winning Division 5 with only 3 defeats all season, they also made it to the quarter final in the defence of the Steve Dixon Memorial Cup in which they lost by just 4 runs. The 2nd XI struggled however in 2013 after their previous success. With inconsistent team selections due to unavailability, they battled their way to the end of the season, where they narrowly avoided relegation. The 3rd XI enjoyed a rather successful first season in the league, managing to win 4 games with the majority of its players consisting of youth prospects from the Under 17s and 15s. Some to impress were Malcolm Webb, Sam Britton and Magnus Taylor who all performed well in their first season of senior cricket.

In 2014, with 3 senior sides now established in the league, the club was focusing on the future with major improvement continuing to take place within the growing youth section. The aim was for all 3 teams to be competitive in their respective divisions and hopefully achieve at least one promotion within the club. Richard Walker continued to lead the 1st XI with the help of Dan Farrant as Vice Captain. The side struggled with inconsistent team selection and eventually limped to a 4th place finish in Division 4. They were also unable to progress through the 2nd round of the Telegraph Cup. The 2nd XI Captaincy was taken on by Shujat Ali Khan with Sam Rodway as Vice Captain. The team enjoyed a successful season and secured promotion by winning Division 7 losing only one game throughout the campaign! Meanwhile in the 3rd XI, Captain John Moss along with the help of Vice Captain Paul Hewitt continued to help improve the young side, securing a 4th place in Division 10 and winning 7 games!

The 2015 season was important for KCC to continue the progress of previous seasons on and off the field! The club achieved its Clubmark Status thanks to a lot of hard work from the committee, notably John Moss and Paul Hewitt! The 1st XI again captained by Richard Walker, secured promotion from Division 4 finishing runners up by only 4 points to Stanton Harcourt CC. They were also runners up in the Telegraph Cup, losing narrowly to Wolvercote CC in an exciting final! In Division 6, Sam Rodway captained the 2nd XI as they struggled due to lack of availability, mainly through players being called up to the 1st team, although they managed to secure safety and finished a comfortable 7th in the league. With the Youth section thriving at KCC, it showed with some great performances from the 3rd XI in Division 10 as they finished 6th in a string league. John Moss again captained a young side with some great performances from Sahil Kaylan, Ajay Behal and Simon Hague! The club also welcomed back midweek week cricket in the form of a t20 side ran by Dan Farrant. A total of 7 games were played with the aim being to help youth members socialize with more senior club members in a friendly environment!

In 2016 KCC saw some major changes regarding Senior Cricket! After 5 years as 1st XI Captain, Richard Walker stepped down with a record of 4 promotions including 2 as Champions,Steve Dixon Memorial Cup winners and Telegraph Cup runners up! Edd Willmot was elected 1st XI captain at the AGM. Sam Rodway stood down as 2nd XI captain and was replaced by the newly elected Simon Smith whilst Ran De Silva was voted in as 3rd XI captain after John Moss also stood down.With the 1st XI now in Division 3 they needed to up their performances as the continued their rise through the OCA. After 3 defeats in their first 4 games, Edd Willmot and his men then went on a 6 game winning streak as they looked at a late promotion push! However after 2 defeats and a rained abandoned game, they eventually finished 3rd in their first season in Division 3 and were quarter finalists in the Telegraph Cup! The 2nd XI under new captain Simon Smith, began well in Division 6 but after a string of defeats, they found themselves in serious danger of relegation. Yet some good performances late in the season saw them secure safety on the last day of the season! They faired better in the Steve Dixon Memorial Cup however, making it to the Semi Finals! In Division 9, the 3rd XI struggled with inconsistent team selection and finished bottom of their Division but still managing to win 3 games with a very young and inexperienced side! The team served its purpose though as some excellent performances from youngsters Lauren Smith, Joe Keighery, Thomas Owen and Kamran Ramzan continue to show the progress of the clubs youth section!
