We kick off the new season at Yarnton Road Stadium tomorrow, here's the news.....read on

Kidlington FC start their firdt Evo-Stik League South West campaign this Saturday with a home game against Yate Town FC, kick off 3:00pm.

Julian McCalmon's side have had a very good pre-season and look in good form going into this first match to be played at Yarnton Road Stadium on Saturday afternoon. McCalmon and his backroom team has been very busy during the close season recruiting many new faces including Declan Benjamin, Ben Brown, Mark Bell, Mark Wharton, James Organ & Lance Williams, all these players will reinforce the already strong squad which was at Kidlington last season.

I asked McCalmon for his thoughts and this is what he told me;

"Pre-season has only enforced my belief that this squad is more than capable of winning this league, from the early start back to training all through pre-season and right up to our match with Thame last Saturday there has been massive progression. The players, management and members around this club have now bought in to what we are trying to do and the style of play which we will try to enforce though out! Saturday for me and my players can not come quickly enough!"
