After a fairly even hour of play three unanswered second half goals were Kidlington's downfall.....read on

The first half of this match was really entertaining with plenty of good football being played by both sides, though in my opinion the visitors just shaded it.

Kidlington had started very well at the beginning of the second period but the best chance 'The Greens' carved out when it was still 0 - 0 was squandered by Louie Joyce when he shot wide after some tremendous work by Tommy Castle on the left flank.

Kidlington had just made a couple of substitutions and seemingly hadn't settled back into their pattern of play when Hanwell took the lead, Bradley Simmonds scored the goal when he curled a shot into the net on 67 minutes.

Kidlington lost concentration and from a free kick given against Callum Rice and Hanwell went further ahead only 2 minutes later. This time it was a well taken headed goal from centre back Oliver Duffy.

The game was seemingly up now as Hanwell began to run the show and it was no real surprise when they added a third. This time some excellent play from their sub Tom O'Regan put the chancel on a plate for Hanwell's number 9 Tom Collins when he cut the ball back from the bye line taking keeper Sam Warrell out of the equation and the striker made no mistake 3 - 0.

In honesty 3 - 0 was a little harsh but once the visitors scored the game looked up as far as hosts were concerned.

So Kidlington now move on to play Farnborough at home this Saturday afternoon hoping for better luck, k.o. 3:00pm.
