Kidlington’s young Hellenic side have had a bitter sweet three days. On Saturday they progressed to the quarter Finals of the Oxfordshire FA Intermediate Cup, which is a cup that we would love to win after losing on penalties in last year’s semi-finals. Adderbury Park Reserves were beaten by a score of 8-1.
The Kidlington goal scorers on the day were all teenagers, they were Sol Jacobs Bryan with two, Josh Tooke with two, Ewan Jones with two and a goal apiece for Harry Whitehead and Taylor Southam.

On Monday night Yarnton Road Stadium played host to what can only be described as a fantastic Uhlsport Hellenic Division One West match.
The young Greens side entertained a strong and lively Letcombe side, despite being two goals up within fifteen minutes they succumbed to a 4-3 defeat. The Greens goalscorers were Harry Whitehead with two and Will Leach with the other one.
Manager nick East said "Neither teams defending was great which made for plenty of exciting action at both ends of the park".
The star of the show without doubt was Letcombe striker Connor Lynch who scored all four goals for the visitors in what was an incredible individual performance.

Next up for 'The Green Machine' is an away match against Easington Sports this Saturday (3pm ko) followed by another home local derby next Monday night against Clanfield (7.45 k.o.) and if last night’s match was anything to go by it will be well worth attending.
