Kidlington’s Development side continued their impressive start to the season when they moved up to second in Uhlsport Division One West. There were two reasons to celebrate as striker Kevin Davies (pictured) also went to the top of the leagues scoring charts with another two fine strikes. Davies has now scored seven goals in five games in this, his first season at Kidlington FC. He is turning out to be an astute signing from local rivals Woodstock Town.
This was a great team performance from Kidlington’s young side and Davies’ goals were sandwiched by a headed effort from Charlie Cassetari and a late penalty from another new signing Jamie Wyatt, who joined us from Moreton Rangers. The Greens dominated from start to finish and with better finishing would have ended up with a bigger winning margin.
