Fresh from our 4 - 1 win against Histon on Saturday McCalmon's boys return to action in a league match at Yarnton Road....read on

Now that the season is fully up and running for us there is a buzz building and Manager Julian McCalmon will be keen to keep it going in our home match against Aylesbury, k.o. 7:45pm.

I spoke to Jules about how it's been for him now he's back at Kidlington and this time as manager -

"It's been a great start to my time in charge, the players have responded to everything that has been asked and are now starting to see the rewards, we've got a long way to go but if we all continue to work hard I have no doubt we will grow to be a decent Southern League side".

he also added -

"I Would like to thank everyone at club for my warm welcome and especially all the hard work behind the scenes that some times goes unnoticed".

Our 2 wins have propelled us up the table to a very respectable 16th position, which after the start we had I'm sure we're all happy with. It's great to see that the new signings are dovetailing together so well with our existing players and to that end it was fantastic to see tha Odihambo brothers both finding the net on Saturday in our 4 - 1 win.

Tuesday's visitors Aylesbury have had mixed fortunes so far this season especially in the league where they have played 8 games and have 7 points. The majority of these points have come in away games as Aylesbury are yet to get a home win whilst on the road they have won 2 of their 4 matches with their last win being a 3 - 2 win at Fleet Town on 10th September.

Kidlington currently sit 2 places above Aylesbury in the table with 8 points and I'm sure our manager and his team will want to stay above 'The Moles' by taking something form the match to keep our good run going. It's to early to know if any of our injured players will be back in contention but for sure young Charlie Wise won't figure because of his ankle ligament problem. Lewis Brownhill is still unavailable because of work commitments and Lewis Coyle is serving the last match of his 3 game ban.

Team From - Warrell, Tetek, Quainton, B.Weedon, Franklin, C Weedon, Willoughby, E Odhiambo, Gabbidon, Castle, Harvey, Thomas A Odhiambo, Dunmall & Smith.
