Kidlington FC hosted a Macmillan Cancer Support Music Day organised by Les Deabill and Jane Pettifer on Saturday 5th August to celebrate Pam's 60th and Les and Pam's 40th Wedding Anniversary.
Although the weather was against them everything moved inside and with live music from 2pm onward it didn't dampen the spirits.
It was free entry for everyone and the bands didn't charge, so a very big thank you to the artists who gave their time for the charity, Emily Young, Gerry and Alan, Elvis ( Kev Cripps), Joe Young, Colonel Pearl, Promise Land, Steamroller, and Sunfly and not forgetting DJ John Martini, Crystal Clear Disco.
Thanks also to John Berry for his PA, mixing desk, supplying a sound engineer, and even getting up to become involved musically.
With the help of our kitchen staff we also provided food on the day and between them all they managed to raise £740 for the charity.
Great day, countless highlights, terrific music, and money made for a very needy charity that does so much for cancer sufferers.
