Kidlington Thame games are always full of good football, with both in the top half of the table this game will hopefully follow the same pattern..read

After getting back to winning ways in midweek against Abingdon United in the Supplementary Cup Kidlington will be looking forward to this Saturday's league match at Yarnton Road against Thame United, k.o. 3:00pm.

After five successive drawn matches everyone was relived when Kidlington finally won again and progressed to the quarter finals of this cup competition. During this series of drawn matches Kidlington looked to have something missing but with the return from suspension of the 'Little Man' Lewis Coyle (pictured) perhaps the missing part of their team has dropped back into place.

It has to be said Kidlington should have taken so many more points from those drawn games and had they just had that little bit more ability to conjure up and score goals then they most likely would have done, but with Coyle back in the team the whole mood of the squad was lifted.

In the game on Tuesday night Kidlington went on to win 6 - 2 at Abingdon's Northcourt Stadium with Coyle netting two, Kristian Thomas also with two, Tommy Castle and Ryan Curtin also on target. Kidlington had only mustered 8 goals in that 5 game drawing sequence so hopefully their form of a month or so back has now returned.

Our visitors this Saturday Thame have had a good season but of late this seems to have been tailing off as they have only won one of their last eight matches. However they did beat Kidlington 2 - 1 earlier in the season and that defeat ended a good run of form for Kiddy who had won their previous 5 games!

Kidlington Manager Martin Wilkinson will be looking for his side to build on the Cup win at Abingdon and progress in this competition which is the teams last chance of silverware this season. Kidlington did win this competition a couple of seasons back and would really like to do so again to have something to show for the great season they have had under Wilkinson's guidance.

Wilkinson has nearly a full squad to pick from this Saturday so will be hoping that the team he picks will do a good job for him and maybe then have a good end to the season.

Squad From: Sanders, L Rice, McGowan, Franklin, C Weedon, Willoughby, Quainton, Brownhill, Thomas, Curtin, Castle, Coyle, C Rice & McCalmon.
