In a fantastic result for Kidlington football club, our reserves won 7-1 away to Cheltenham Saracens first team on Wednesday night. Because of our first team's historic rise to the Evostik southern league central division, our second team have been entered into all of the senior Hellenic league competitions.

Last night they travelled to Uhlsport division one team, Cheltenham Saracens with a very young side, all seven goals were scored by players 19 years old and younger. Harry Whitehead scored a first half hatrick, this was followed by goals from Josh Tooke, Ryan Stockford, Maxwell Jones and an incredible 25 yard volley from captain Callum Rice.

After the 9-0 league win away to Clanfield, the reserves have now scored 16 goals in two matches! With these young players coming through the future is really bright for Kidlington football club.

Next up for our young reserves is a county cup match v senior league side Horspath on Saturday. The reserves are playing some great stuff at the moment so those supporters not travelling with the first team, please get along to Yarnton road stadium to watch the green machine!!!

Kick off is early at 1-30pm
