This weekend Kidsgrove Athletic take on Newcastle Town at the Lyme Valley Stadium in a match which could see Grove move ever closer to the play-off positions.
Kidsgrove, will look to put the disappointing 2-0 loss to Carlton Town behind them as they face a Newcastle Town side who have not been in great form, losing four of their last six matches.
However, their home form is enviable. Winning nine of 13 matches at the Lyme Valley Stadium, they boast one of the best home records in the league, falling second only to top of the league, Shaw Lane AFC.
When away from the Novus Stadium, Grove have been fairly inconsistent; winning five, drawing four and losing six. In order to gain anything from the game, Grove will need to capitalise on a good week’s training and improve on last week’s performance.
The Castle, are also coming in to the match on the back of a bad result, losing 2-0 to 13th placed Chasetown.
Both teams will be looking to gain the upper hand in what is due to be a tight encounter, where a win either way could make or break a season.
