The U18s team kicked off their league campaign with a victory over Uddingston U18s.

Kilmarnock started the better and won an early penalty in front of the posts which Ross Anderson slotted for a 3-0 lead. During the first few minutes play was frantic from both sides though Killie had the better in terms of territory. After winning the ball from a solid ruck Ross Anderson kicked through and collected the ball to score a try and added the extra two points. Soon after Killie advanced up the pitch with some slick handling only to be undone in the final five meters. Good defensive pressure from the resulting scrum forced the error from Uddingston allowing Connor Turnbull, playing at centre, to take advantage with a move from the resulting Killie scrum, Ross missing the conversion. Killie 15-0.
