Try Rugby recruitment event this weekend (6th July)

UPDATE:

We've finalised the order for the Try Rugby Day and it is as Follows:

10:30 - West Ham Tube (if you want to watch the final British Lions match)
12:30 - West Ham Tube (if don't mind missing the British Lions match and want a lie-in!)
13:00 - 15:30 East London Rugby Club - Try Rugby event starts
16:00+ - heading to the Black Cap for free buffet and some drinks

EVENT DESCRIPTION

We understand that starting a new sport or picking it up again after many years can be really intimating, so we're running a 'Try Rugby' event this summer aimed specifically for these people.

The day will be a chance for people with very rusty, minimal or no rugby experience to discover/rediscover and explore the sport in a setting which will be supportive of new players.

Here are some of the things you can expect:
- Some basic rugby drills and game positioning for beginners.
- Ending in a game of touch rugby (so no rough stuff just yet!).
- Chance to meet some of the team players and have a laugh.
- All of this is a gay friendly / inclusive environment of course.

All you'll need some gym kit and either football boots or outdoor trainers you don't mind getting a bit muddy. There will be changing facilities at the location.
