On behalf of the Committee and members of Kings Moss CC we would like to pass on our condolences to the Kerr family and Ballymena Road Club with the passing of Billy.
Billy represented NI in the Commonwealth games and Ireland in the 1980 Olympics (with Steven Roach).
With a huge list of accolades such as winning the Tour of the North, the Ras and Tour of Ireland, Billy was an inspiration for many riders at a local and national level.
Kings Moss CC's own Joe Cooke fondly remembers racing with Billy Kerr at a local open race level and was personally shocked and saddened by his passing.
Joe Cooke "A great cyclist has just died, he was a legend. His wins to many to mention. He was the greatest I have ever rode with (many times), such class"
