12 riders from Kings Moss Cycling took part in the Freewheelers Lap of the Lough with a 100+ other riders from various clubs. The day was great and the event was well organised yet again and hopefully raised a few quid for their very good charity.
This is a day which KMCC like to make it their 100 mile day, as they cycle from Ballyclare to join the 75 mile event which leaves from the Antrim Forum. All 12 riders rode the event together in sunshine and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Thanks to John McKernon for keeping us organised on the day, which shared the work load, made us look like a club and got us home. As usual there were a couple of 30s contested for on the way home, with the ole boy with many miles on his legs Joe Cooke taking the 30 into Antrim and the younger Cooke taking the final one into Doagh.
