Kinross fielded a young team against the students and got off to a great start scoring an early try through Lewis davis. We kept up the pace and reached half-time 21 - 17 ahead thanks to further tries from Mushie ( Andy Stewart ) and Keith Tolson (who scored within a minute of coming on the pitch), and a flawless kicking display from Charlie Fowler. This was in spite of some strange refereeing decisions, especially at the breakdown and the scrum.

These decisions continued in the second half, and it was on the back of one of these that the students ran in their decisive try in their 27-21 victory. It was a pity that these decisions spoiled a great team effort from Kinross and also detracted from some great running rugby from the students.

Overall Kinross put up a good performance, but the students had a little extra due to their lightening quick winger who ran in three tries.
