Club History History - Club History
Formed in 2010 by the former committee and members of Surrey Athletic and Knaphill FC "A' & "B' Teams, Knaphill Athletic Football Club was created to provide participation football at all levels throughout the intermediate and junior levels of adult football.

Based at Waterers Park in Knaphill, the clubs first season in 2010/11 saw three sides compete in the Guildford & Woking Alliance League, with the club making an instant impact. The first team reached the final of the GWAL Premier Cup, while also going on a 17 game unbeaten run which saw them finish fourth in the league and make the quarter finals of the Surrey County Cup, while the Reserves and "A' Team earned respectable mid table positions. Success off the pitch soon followed, with the Acorns earning the honour of becoming a Charter Standard club, awarded by The FA.

The 2011/12 season promises to be just as successful, with the first and reserve teams competing in the Surrey Intermediate Leagues, while the "A' Team will be joined by a "B' side in the Guildford and Woking Alliance.
