Butler Hits Half Century Of Goals
Acorns hitman Gary Butler took his season tally to 20 and his total goals for the club to 50 with his hat-trick goal against Elm grove Seniors on Saturday. He is now top scorer for both the first AND reserve sides and is on course to eclipse his own record of 30 goals from last season.
Christened the "porky number 10" in an opposition match report last season, Butler continues to have the last laugh on teams notching 6 hauls of 3 or more goals in that time as well as providing 13 assists for a team mate to score. Here's hoping he keeps on hitting the net.
