Despite leading twice, Knaphill had to settle for a point against Farleigh Rovers at Redding Way on Saturday with manager Phil Ellery giving home debuts to five new signings, Jay Coombs, Warren Collins, Mark Ward, Dan Pritchard and Steve Coultas.
Craig Knowles opened the scoring for Knaphill only for our visitors to level shortly afterwards. Substitute Michael Pym, pictured, restored our lead midway through the second half but Rovers equalised again following poor parking from a corner.
The Knappers are in action again on Tuesday night as they host Hampton & Richmond, kick off 7.30pm.
Knaphill Reserves progressed to the next round of the Surrey Intermediate County Cup with a 5-2 win over Brockham courtesy of a first half hat-trick from Perry Coles and a brace from Shane Cummins.
The Reserves will now face Westside who defeated Staines Lammas 6-2 Saturday in the next round at Redding Way.
