Met Police Reserves 6 Knaphill 2
Knaphill's decent run in the Surrey Premier County Cup came to an grinding halt last night with a 6-2 defeat at Imber Court to cup holders Met Police Reserves.
Despite a bright opening twenty minutes from Knaphill, three quick fire goals from our hosts and a disallowed goal from Knaphill shortly before half time helped knock the stuffing out of the Knappers.
However despite plenty of effort and work rate, poor defending allowed Met Police to extend there lead in the second half. The best goals of the night were without a doubt scored by Knaphill with two 25 yard strikes from Craig Parrington and Matt Baker either side of half time.
