New Appointment - First Team Manager

Knaphill Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Liam Parrington as first team manager.

Liam brings with him a wealth of coaching experience, contacts and knowledge of the game. His ideas and philosophy was an instance hit with the clubs committee which ultimately made him the clubs number one choice.
As a player, Liam represented England U16, West Ham United reserves and Basingstoke Town first team. He was then offered a scholarship to America, where he won national player of the year and gained a business degree. Liam has played for both Knaphill and Westfield, where he helped them win promotion to the CCL Premier Division.
Liam has worked at multiple levels as a coach both in the UK and US, he will bring lots of energy, passion and professionalism to the club which match our aim for promotion.
Liam holds a UEFA B in coaching, with the aim to enrol on UEFA A.

Liam brings in a management team of Richard Keown, Jack French and Sam Townend.
Richard Keown is no stranger to the club having managed the clubs development side for the last two seasons. Keown will be Liam's assistant manager.
Jack French comes in as video analyst and coach. Jack is ambitious young coach who spent last year with Woking FC first team providing video analysis. During the season he also gained experience with Manchester United. Jack holds an FA level 2 in coaching and will be looking to enrol on his UEFA B this coming year.
Sam Townend comes in as coach and will be assisting with the day to day running of the team.
