In frantic opening exchanges Alex Litwinko crept in behind the visitor's defence in the 4th minute to meet a cross but wasn't able to keep his shot on target. Then 2 minutes later Droitwich hit the bar following a corner.

The remainder of the first half was a tight midfield battle with few clear cut chances until the 43rd minute when Droitwich attacked down their left and only a fine save by Conal Dowling on his debut in the home goal kept the scores level.

As the second half started Knowle got into their stride with a number of good moves down their right. In the 57th minute Litwinko fed the ball to Chritain McArdle on the overlap but Kyle Jaynes was unable to turn his cross home from 6 yards. Four minutes later Litwinko created room for himself and his shot from the edge of the box went only just over the visitors bar. However, he was not to be denied and in the 68th minute he turned the full back and hit home from the corner of the penalty area.

Droitwich who had previously only lost once all season responded well and went in search of an equaliser. Knowle were resolute in defence but had to rely on 2 clearances off the line to protect their lead. Then as the game went into injury time they put the result beyond doubt when Dylan Parker broke down the right and crossed. Roz Kane could not convert but the loose ball feel to Parker who stroked the ball home.

The win moves Knowle up to fourth in the league.
