Lancaster City Football Club announce an under-18s side, with complete emphasis on developing local talent from Lancaster, Morecambe and the surrounded areas, will be set up this summer having applied for a place in the North West Youth Alliance League.
Lancaster City look to continue their recent success in progressing young talent onto professional contracts, with Alex Kenyon, Danny Hattersley and Jordan Connerton all gaining pro-contract transfers from the Dolly Blues in recent years.
Further information regarding appointment of a team manager and trials for anyone interested in playing for the side will be announced later in the summer.
