Sunday's kwikcricket squad were hugely disappointed when the Dunnikier tournament was called off as only Largo and Dunnikier could field teams. Without much arm twisting parents were quick to volunteer to play in a hastily arranged kwikcricket match at at East Drive on Sunday morning. For the first match two mixed adult - youngsters teams were created one captained by Jock Robertson the other by Jamie McEwan-Short..For the record Jocks team won by 13 runs but who cares!!
As ever a competitive edge crept in and full of the misplaced confidence of youth the 11 youngsters challenged the 8 adults to a match. Although the youngsters played well Jim, Jim, Stuart, James, Collin, Pete and Morag (and David) won comfortably. Boo!!.
The objective of the morning was to have fun and everyone involved certainly had that - probably more than the Sunday team had in the afternoon!!.
