The Larks built on a decisive win against Burnham at the weekend with a 2-0 victory against closest rivals Mangotsfield United last night which takes us up to 9th in the table.
The win was bookended by two fine - and very different - goals, one in each half.
Ben Wych put the Larks ahead less than 15 minutes in with a fierce strike from outside the box, and then man of the match Dean Griffiths sealed the victory with a stunning high lob over the advancing Mangos keeper Kyle Phillips. The game was also distinguished by an impressive debut from our new signing, centre-back Zemell Burton.
Next up for the Larks is a trip to Didcot Town on Saturday. The next home game is Wednesday 2nd December v Bashley, ko 7.45pm.
Up the Larks!
