5-A-SIDE FUN GOLF DAY
Entry Closed - 8 Teams will be competing at the Bentra on Sat 14th April

Concept
• 5 players per team (mixed, men, ladies)
• 1 ball per team
• Each player is given an order number, which they remain as for the entire round.
• Each player gets 1 club for the entire round. They can not swap that club with another team member
• Club selection grouping 5 groups, 1 per person - (1W-3W-5W)(1I-3I)(4I-6I)(7I-9I)(SW-PW)
• Putter will be allocated on the green but you remain in your order.
• No handicaps per player/team you play the par for course.
• Fancy dress as old style golf outfits (optional)
Plan
Tee off 10.30am (Saturday 14th April)
Hopefully 18 teams. All teeing off at the same time – i.e. 2 teams from each tee box (hole), this means that everyone will be roughly finished at the same time.
However this may cause issues/concerns with members on the day. So if the 1st tee box has to be booked and pairs of team leave one after the other, that’s the way it would have to be.
Prizes for:
• Best Team
• Worst Team
• Longest Drive
• Closest to the pin
Food
Finger food/sandwiches back at the rugby approximately 12.30. We would also invite you to stay behind and support the 1st XV who are playing QUB 2nd XV at home that day KO 2.30
Transport
The club has a mini bus and for those who can not make their way to the Bentra Golf Course on their own, we hope to be able to offer the minibus that day. This is not a guarantee though
