The mighty Springboks take the field at Lasswade
Lasswade RFC were delighted to host the Boks for a closed training session on Wednesday afternoon.
It is not often that Bonnyrigg can claim to have ateam of International sporting stars in it's midst,but on Wednesday afternoon the Springboks took to the field at Lasswade for a training session. We were asked not to make it known as it was a closed session.
They were very complimentary of our facility and enjoyed their short time with us.
They were very friendly towards the few people that were there and we wish them well on their tour to the northern hemisphere, and wish them success (NOT THIS SATURDAY) for the remainder of teir matches.
We hope they will consider returning to Lasswade in the years to come.
