The Latchford players heads went down following a few crucial game decisions and it was never regained. With the half time scoreline at 6 - 10 with an early try from Lewis Pritchard
and coverted by Liam Wray
the game could have been won by either team. The half time team talk was to win the first 5 minutes and the game would be ours. Unfortunately it was the visitors that won the first battle, Latchford being unable to complete the restart set of six. This led the way for a 4 try fest for Leigh which Latchford could not answer too. The team could not regain any composure and uncompleted sets, missed tackles and a dog legged defensive line proved a bad day at the Office. With the end of the fisrt part of the Season looming the lads need to get their heads up and train hard to iron out the creaches. To be in the top flight we need to play as we can week in week out, we know we can do it but consistancy is slightly a miss.
