A special general meeting was held in the clubhouse last night to appoint a new minis/junior chairperson.
The meeting was chaired by current main club chairperson Mr John Tharme.
Following a democratic voting process, Mr Steve Craddock was elected as chairperson. Steve will succeed Mr Darren Tait who resigned as chairperson following the mini/juniors AGM earlier this month.
Although absent from the meeting, Mr Martin Couch was also elected as vice chairperson. Martin will replace Rob Mill who previously carried out this role.
Mr Roy Webb will continue as treasurer and Mrs Mel Tozer continues as secretary.Both these appointments were ratified at the AGM.
Steve accepted his appointment and during his 'maiden' speech thanked both Darren Tait and Rob Mill for all the good work that they had previously carried out in their 'officer' positions.
We wish Steve, his committee and all associated with the minis/junior section a successful season.
