Inaugural Two Counties Cup Final

3 months ago By Martin Couch

Launceston Colts, Cornish Champions, take on Topsham, Devon Champions, in the inaugural Two Counties Cup at Polson this Saturday.

The Winners and the Runners Up of the respective Devon and Cornwall Cups will compete this Saturday (5th May) for the Two Counties Cup (Winners) and Shield (Runners Up). Starting at 1:30pm, Penzance will take on Exmouth for the Shield. Then at 3:30pm Launceston Colts will face Topsham for the Cup.

It should be a highly entertaining day of rugby. Launceston Colts Manager, Nigel Tozer, says: "The CABs Colts have had a tremendous season and this tough challenge against the Devon Champions will round it off perfectly". Coach Phil Stansfield added: "The Colts are well prepared and looking forward to their final match of the season".

A big crowd is anticipated for these games and the bar and kitchen will be open throughout for refreshments.
