History
Founded in 2009 after winning a sixth form county cup, Launceston College Phoenix began life as Phoenix Rising and competed in the Kingsley League in the 2009-10 season. It was a good season too: winning the league with a hundred per cent record, it was obvious the club needed the challenge of competing in the extensive Duchy League where one of the ways success can be measured is through promotion.
We are an alumni team, made up of Launceston College students, staff and ex-students. The aim of the club is to give local boys the opportunity of maintaining and developing their football skills, and to also play football for the love of the game.
