We have been having some difficulties again with the GMS mailing system which sends out In-Touch. I am aware that some people are receiving it but others are not, or they are receiving it some weeks but not others. . I have spoken to the RFU geeks at Twickenham about this, as I send the emails using the same instructions every week, the patchy and inconsistent delivery makes no sense. They are looking into it. If you have missed any editions you can view them on the club website or I can send them to you via my email

Warwickshire have informed us of some current coaching roles that are open to club members and it would be great to see Leamington members / coaches / players getting involved at a county level with any additional courses needed club funded. Please let Tony Timms or Tom Chandler know if you are interested and need further information as there is a scope sheet (job description?) available for each. The roles are below:

Summer Bar Opening – we are open from 7.00 every Tuesday throughout the summer and we are also open on Saturday afternoons for two hours from 4.00.

Pre-season training starts at the beginning of July and in the meantime there is touch rugby on Tuesdays at 7.00 and gym training on Thursdays
The Car Boot sales are in full swing every Sunday from now until the end of August

The Annual General meeting of the club (which includes the mini and junior AGM) will be held in the clubhouse on Tuesday 3rd July. The meeting will start at 8.15 to allow players to attend after training. For anyone interested in getting involved in the running of the club, the list of committee posts that will be elected at the meeting will be posted in In Touch between now and then. If you want to nominate anyone or to stand or to support any of these areas of work in a more unofficial way, please contact me.
