Attention was focussed on the Youth Section last week, with the Under-14s following in the footsteps of the senior club and touring to Wexford, where it is understood they we well entertained and had a great time The mini festival was held on Sunday. The weather was good and the day went very well with 45 teams and around 450 youngsters taking part. Wasps and England No.8 Nathan Hughes came along to present the prizes and seemed to enjoy his day. Thanks to everyone involved in the organisation of the event and those taking part. There were lots of compliments about how well we did.

The Club Dinner is on Friday 12 May at the clubhouse. The guest speaker is Andy Goode. Tickets are £30 and are still available from Richard Watkins or Tom Chandler (emails below). Please make a direct payment into the club's bank account as follows and then send an email confirming that you have done so to either Richard or Tom (addresses below) - Account number – 11851701 Sort code - 16 23 15 Reference - Club Dinner. Cash or cheque payments can be taken but the above is preferred to make administration easier. Whichever method is chosen it must be prior to the night.

The latest report on Wranga Reeve is good news. He has been moved out of critical care and into a neurological ward. All tubes have been removed and he now is fully awake and having conversations - some nonsense and some lucid. Movement is beginning to return to his left hand side. He will be moving to Heathcote Rehabilitation Centre, but this might be a couple of weeks yet. Visiting is now allowed but needs to be limited - contact Jane or Jess if you want to go (Jane 07976228755 - Jess 07870653682). Visiting hours are 2pm - 3pm (4pm on Sundays) and every evening 6.30pm - 8pm. Jane and Jess thank everyone for their messages of goodwill and support.
