Akkies to storm Parliament
Leeds Akkies Masters will take on the Political Animals in their final game of the 2011 season at Kirkstall on Saturday (2pm kick off).
The Akkies have been asked to represent the Student Rugby League Alumni in a one-off fixture against the Animals - the Parliamentary Rugby League team - on Leeds Rhinos' brand new 3G pitch at Kirkstall.
The masters were also in action this Sunday when they were edged out by a well drilled Ossett Trinity side, courtesy of two interception tries. The game marked a welcome return and masters debuts from club legend Jez Shires and Brian Birt.
We will be meeting at Kirkstall at 1pm this Saturday. Please confirm your availability asap.
