Once again the event was a sell-out, with acts including Lady GaGa, Wham, Stevie Wonder and the Jackson Five. Pavarotti - AKA Akkies prop Al Hick - was the eventual winner following a stirring rendition of 'Nessum Dorma.'
Next up in the Akkies packed social calendar is 'Live Lounge II' with highly-touted Leeds four-piece 'The Axions' again scheduled to top the bill.
