Commentary.

Yorkshire really took the game to lancs in the 1st half and seemed to totally out enthuse the Lancs side which they seemed to struggle recovering from. Yorkshire played good flowing rugby , Lancs scored on the stroke of half time and hoped hey could bounce on in the 2nd half.

The 2nd half started in much the same vain with a dominant Yorks performance. Lancs never stopped competing but the damage was done and they seemed to struggle executing all their hard work.

Lancs Chairman Phil Johnson commented - its been a pleasure to host our friends from Yorkshire , they gave a great dominant performance and deserved their win - but on a positive note its the 1st Championship we've lost in 5 years.

Thanks

Jim Parry

Lancs RL Secretary.
