Division Three Roundup

DEWSBURY MOOR MAROONS were far too strong for EASTMOOR DRAGONS as they ran out 44-0 winners.

Andy Robinson and Jordan Foster both scored twice as the home side dominated throughout.

Foster also added five goals for an 18-point haul, with James Eatherley also landing a conversion.

The other tries arrived via Bartley O’Brien, George Croisdale, Lewis Holliday and Eatherley.

DRIGHLINGTON slipped to a narrow 18-16 defeat to WOOLSTON ROVERS.

Keiron Roche, Steve McIntyre and Oliver Sharpe crossed for the hosts, with Michael Sanderson adding a couple of goals.

However, it wasn’t enough to stop a Rovers side who had try scorers in Glyn Roberts, Billy Mallinder and Danny Garcia-O’Brien.

Lewis Hoarty crucially added three conversions.

STANNINGLEY ran out 40-4 winners over GATESHEAD STORM.

Gregg Newlands crossed for the Storm’s consolation effort, but by that point they were well behind.

Josh Roberts, Tom Sharp, Connor McGill, Joe Ugarte, Josh Jones, Luke Gallagher and Dean Parker all touched down for the hosts, with Callum Smithson’s six goals closing their account.

THORNHILL TROJANS ran in 11-tries to power past WATERHEAD WARRIORS 62-10.

The visitors were 10-6 up after 14 minutes thanks to tries from Luke Defeu and Sam Bentley, with Jamie Mayall adding a conversion, however, it was one-way traffic after that.

Richard Bostock claimed his second try before the break, by which point Ben Kendall, Danny Ratcliffe, Joel Gibson and Adam Allerton had also crossed.

Allerton added a second, Liam Morley and Sam Ratcliffe both popped over whilst Gibson completed his hat-trick which was complimented by a nine goals for a 30-point haul.

HUNSLET CLUB PARKSIDE continued their perfect start with a 38-6 win at WIBSEY WARRIORS.

Luke Helliwell improved his own touchdown to give the hosts a 6-4 half-time lead, but the second period was all Parkside.

Jack Carvill crossed for the opening effort, and he was joined on the score sheet by Jamie Field, Jamie Bradley, Omar Alrawi and Luke O’Malley.

Fields (3), Andy Hullock and Mark Holmes added the extras.
