INCE ROSE BRIDGE held off a late rally to beat PILKINGTONS RECS 24-20 and bag pole position in the table. The Wigan outfit went into the last 15 minutes 24-4 ahead, courtesy of tries by James Malone, Ryan Eccleston, Jimmy Highton and Conner Matthews with Kenny Baker landing all four goals. Pilks, previously limited to an Andrew Nisbet effort, hit back with a Daniel Halsal brace, a Liam Bostock touchdown on 78 minutes and two Danny Lynch conversions, however time ran out for the visitors.

Skirlaugh and York Acorn meanwhile drew in an incredible 42-42 game. Skirlaugh who were rampant in the early exchanges led 34-6 close to half time, only for Acorn to bounce back and take the lead 36-34 with 10 minutes left. The home side retrieved the lead through centre Matty Bower, only for York to edge ahead with second row Tom Hills second touchdown and standoff Ant Chiltons seventh Goal. A last gasp try by substitute Scott Mountain snatch a point.

KELLS hit back from being 12-0 down to win 30-16 at Milford, thanks to Dominic Wear brace and further tries for Ryan Watson, Craig Benson and Reece O’Neil and five goals by Ross Gainford who had 100 percent record with the boot. Milford who led through a Ryan Oxtiby conversions if Josh Nathanil brace had to settle for a consolation try by Eddie Wilson in the closing stages.

MYTON WARRIORS meanwhile successfully held out against a late ELLAND comeback to win 18-16 in Halifax. The warriors went into the last 15 minutes 18-6 up having registered two Nathan Slater tries and a Liam Barnett touch down, each of which Ash James improved. Elland who had kept in touch with a Jack Fairbank score posted a Bradley Radcliffe try and four minutes from time a Joseph Nicholson touchdown, with a Cayci Pearson landing his second goal. Myton, though kept their hosts at bay in a tense finish.

Elsewhere SHAW CROSS beat WIGAN ST JUDES 34-0 closing with a Jordan Anderson brace, a try and five goals for Danny Flowers, and touchdowns for Curtis Sidebottom, Jack Gledhill and Robbie Byatt. The Sharks John Rouke was sin binned for alleged punching Wigan’s Ryan Ainscough and Olly Oldale meanwhile copped yellow cards for a shoulder charge and team offences respectively.

SALFORD CITY ROOSTERS opened against HUNSLET WARRIORS with a Will Rigby try, but the visitors were never behind again once Lee West, Liam Gale and Chris Hartley crossed before the break. Caldon Bravo, Gary MCClelland and Richard Wheelhouse added second half tries, McClelland totalling five goals for a 34-28 win. Bradley White and Lee Sailsbury responded for Salford, with Rigby and Andrew Muscat nipping over in the last few minutes and Jordan Parker closing with four goals. Hunslet however had a late and controversial escape when Sailsbury have a try vetoed with the ref already blowing for a Warriors Knock on.
