On Sat 14.5.16 Staffs County Senior men's team came out winners against Cumbria, which has now set up the National Shield County Championship Semi-Final which will be played At Esterchem Park , Leek RUFC ,Sat 21.5.16 V Buckinghamshire.

This is the first time for several years that the county have got to this stage and Leek are again honoured to host the national semi final at the ground on behalf of the county.

During the previous 2 games Leek RUFC have supplied 8 players to the county squad with 4 playing last Sat in Cumbria .

We are hopeful the club will provide players again for the game this coming weekend .

If the County win the game they will be playing at Twickers on 28.5.16 , can we visit again and support Leek and the County !!!!!

The Ko will be 3pm with gates open from 1.15pm ., £3 entrance fee incl programme , kids free

There will be an outside marquee , bar , BBQ , TV and post game live music . The clubhouse will only be used for players and county committee members as we have to cater for 70 persons.

In order to ensure the game and club are again correctly represented we are after members to help out on the day and any time prior too .
