Hi all, as we approach the business end of the season can we remind you as a club of some key dates for your diary....

....where we would encourage you , your family , friends ,residents and members to pay a visit to the club and enjoy a few hrs in great company .

As we know the seniors teams have all had a strong season so far with the 1st team challenging for promotion .

Friday 24th.March vets match under floodlights at home ko 7pm bar open from 6pm with food from 64-5pm - if you fancy a game please contact Neil Edge or Paddy

Saturday 25th March, 1st team away at Shrewsbury 3pm ko

On the weekend of 31st March the club will be holding their end of season Beer Festival with the bar opening from 530pm

On Sat 1st April the clubhouse will be open from 1pm with the 1st team playing at home v Stafford RUFC , 3pm ko , hot food from 2pm .

We will also have beer sold outside from a small marquee .

Post match live music will be played within the clubhouse from approx. 5-30pm till
7-45pm by local musician Steve Gidding

This match will be sponsored by MRN Transport of Leek

Sat 8th April -1st team away at Stourbridge RUFC in a top of the table clash ,3pm ko . The club will be putting a coach on for the trip with loo , please book your seats via Mark Hardern on tel no 07539336299.The coach will arrive for 1130am for a 1145 departure , estimated time of arrival back into Leek for approx. 7.30pm

cost to non 1st team players is £10pp

Please support the seniors sides and lets give the 1st team a big push .

On Sunday 2nd April the future of the club , under 8 mini section, will be hosting a club festival . A great deal of hard work is going on behind the scenes to ensure all players , parents have a great experience and enjoy the Leek hospitality . During the day again hot food and drinks will be available to purchase .

Leek RUFC has a strong and ever growing junior boys and girls section which is certainly putting Leek RUFC Brand on the rugby map , I would encourage you all to promote this event and support where you can .

The Organisers are presently looking for some helps for the day to assist in such things as BBQ , SENIORS _ PLEASE SUPPORT THE CLUB - please update your captains /DOR and give a small time on the Sunday to make this a whole club event .

The Beer Festival will be supported by Joules and the Cock Inn of Leek along with great support from Peakstone Brewery of Alton and several Leek RUFC sponsors .

If any club member or sponsors wishes to sponsor a barrel please contact either myself or Andy Poole , cost £100 per barrel to include 2 match day entrance tickets , 4 pints and sponsor names all over the place .

Can we ask you to share lifts where possible and park responsibly on the estate .Sunday 2nd April, further parking is on Wall LANE
