After many months of discussion and meeting the club have decided to change brewery supplier.....

....and have transferred to a national independent supplier called Hb Clark who work in partnership with InBev who are the main manufacturer of such brands as Stella / Budweiser This deal ensures we should improve profits yet still sell strong club brands such as Wainwright ale . In the coming days all lines and pumps will be replaced with new ales, lagers / ciders and wines sold in an effort to both supply good beer as well as reduce waste ,all at a competitive price .

There will be a soft opening this Thursday 24th August at the club from 7-30pm as we prepare for the Staffs Cup game v Longton at Esterchem Park on Saturday 26th August (Please keep checking the website and Facebook for any changes )

You will all see improvements and we would want you to spread the message and use the bar .We also plan to add a debit card payment system for bar purchases.

In terms of bar management we have been able to secure the services of Anna and Tom who will be busy behind the scenes managing the bar and assisting in promoting the venue for alternative use and hire . Please keep up to date on the club Facebook, website and notice boards at the club .They will be working closely with the club social committee as we have plans to open more hours during the week for members and non members with some regular events .

Anna has arranged a wine tasting and nibbles event at the club for Thursday 14th September at a cost of £10pp which can be booked via Anna before 10.9 and will include tasting of 7 wines and a prosseco . The intention is to stock and sell such wines to club members . This will be supported by a wine expert .

Please book early .

Anna can be contacted on 07875 365931 email: annaliesa.porter@gmail.com or see staff on sat and Sunday or key opening nights to discuss private functions .

It is important not to forget the time and effort at no cost to the club that past chairman, Dave Powell ,has put into managing the bar over the past 5 years . Dave will still be involved with the club as events manager and junior coach along with spending more time with his young family .

We hope you all support this move forward and spread the message and keep yourself updated on functions planned such as pig racing , Oktoberfest, gin and prosecco festival , Monthly quiz / music nights , Umpah and Irish night and many more .
