The Leek players travelled to the county town to attend the Staffs county Championships.

The Leek team were awesome, playing in 5 games of hard full contact rugby.
With new rules in place there was to be no outright winning team, but with their record on the day Leek stood out.

Kin 6, Barney 2, Joshua 1.

Game 2; Leek (8) v Walsall (1)

Played 5 games.

Won 5 games.

Scored 36 tries.

Conceded 3 tries.

As you can see there was a lot of tries by Leek, but their defence was fantastic only conceding 3 tries.

It doesn’t get any better than that!

Well-done Boys.

Leek also played a second Leek team as more players turned up than were entered into the festival. This team was of mixed abilities and struggled with injury that cut their day short.
Well-done a great day was had by all.
