Beer Festival 2012
Leek Cricket Club is holding its annual Beer Festival on the weekend of the 10th, 11th and 12th August at their ground at Highfield, Leek.
There will be over 20 real ales on offer to suit all palates plus a range of ciders. The main bar will also be open serving the normal range of drinks
The event kicks off at 6 pm on Friday 10th August with the chance to meet some of the South African cricket squad. This is followed by a disco.
The bar re opens at 12 pm on Saturday the 11th and is open until midnight. Top of the table Leek 1st XI take on Hem Heath in the North Staffs and South Cheshire cricket league Division A in the afternoon. Wickets pitched at 1.30.
The evening entertainment will be provided by The Fires who are a well known and popular local band who do cover versions.
On Sunday the 12th August Leek & Moorlands 1st XI host Keele Park 1st XI in the final of the Stone League Pinfold Trophy starting at 2 pm
The bar is open from 12 pm until all beer is sold
Food will be available throughout the weekend
