We are delighted to announce that the Club has secured £44,995 of Olympic legacy funding from Sport England’s Inspired Facilities Fund.

The Inspired Facilities fund is part of the £135 million Places People Play legacy programme that is bringing the magic of a home Olympic and Paralympic Games into communities across the country. Every sports facility that receives funding will carry the London 2012 Inspire mark –celebrating the link to the Games.

The project to upgrade the club's existing practice facilities commenced last September, and we are now pleased to announce that the brand new 4 bay facility will be available to use as of week commencing the 2nd April. Our thanks to Notts Sport and Bingham Ground Services for completing the construction works in time for the new season, and obviously to Sport England for accepting the grant application to make the project possible!

Sport England representative Maggie Taylor met with Brian Mellor, Richard Ogden and MP Karen Bradley on Friday 23rd March, to open the new facility and handover the cheque of £44,995. Full details of the press release can be found below:

Please Note: The facility is only to be used for structured training sessions supervised by a club coach, senior team captain or manager.
Unauthorised practice is NOT permitted in order to preserve the life of our new state of the art facility.
