Mitch Shenton scored the winner in the 87th minute as CSOB overcome Cheadle SMU.

Ash Cunningham replaced Ash Knight in goal to face his former club.
Tom Bourne came in for the injured Rob Drummond with Drew Bennett moving across to left back. Kie Scotland replaced Zak Barker in attack with Kieran Wain moving down the middle.

CSOB had a dream start when Mitch Shenton swept the ball home within the first minute.

The lead didn't last long however as a free-kick into the box was headed home by the towering figure of Darren Bullock.

CSOB were the team doing all of the pressing and had several opportunities to retake the lead but were coming up against a stubborn Cheadle backline.

They finally made the breakthrough when Kieran Scotland got on the end of a cross to fire home.

Just as before, CSOB's lead didn't last long as a big long ball from the half way line made its way into the Old Boys box and the unfortunate Tom Bourne headed the ball over Ash Cunningham in goal.

The second half followed a similar pattern with CSOB in the ascendancy and Cheadle happy to sit deep and try and catch CSOB on the counter attack.

Mark Fox and Zak Barker were introduced on the hour mark for Dale Walters and Kie Scotland.

CSOB thought they should of had a penalty when Mitch Shenton seemed to be upended in the box but the referee turned down the appeals.

The final throw of the dice saw Mitch Cartlidge replace Kieran Wain in attack as CSOB went in search for the winner.

The winning goal finally arrived with 5 minutes remaining when a great overlapping run and cross from Tom Bourne found the feet of Mitch Shenton who took a touch before drilling hard and low past the Cheadle keeper for his 7th goal of the season.

CSOB held on for a deserved three points and had to show great character in the game.
