CSOB Ladies have been dealt an injury blow after Chelsey Berwick suffered an injury during last weeks match against Stoke City

Leek CSOB Ladies have been dealt a major injury blow after defender Chelsey Berwick suffered quite a serious injury during the match against Stoke City last week. This could mean CSOB could be without Berwick for up to 10 week. Upon the news Chelsey Commented by saying "Looks like another lengthy spell off the pitch watching them instead of on the pitch with them, gutted isn't the word but I'll be back."

After the game Manager Nathan Ball commented by saying "of course its a massive blow to the squad we can't deny that but we just have to pull together and keep working hard." He went on to say "she's a massive part of what we want to do here having played in every game this season so far while captaining the team twice in the process."

Chelsey has made 13 appearances this term scoring two goals one of which was against her former club Kidsgrove Athletic. She also has 8 assists to her name.

In other news Leek CSOB Ladies are pleased to announce that they have resigned former Leek player Naomi Gibson alongside Full back Ysabelle Grace Lewis who has previously played for Newcastle Town and Stoke town. Ball said "they are two players that will strengthen the squad and give us a boost."
